One night in Bangkok makes
a hard man humble
The cliches flow thick and fast but none get close to the reality that is modern day Bangkok. Today the city is the epicentre of the Thai nation and home of a monarchy that is universally adored by its subjects, where skytrains rattle overhead and elephants trundle along the sidewalk, where millionaires eat noodles from streetside hawkers, gadget geeks seek guidance from fortune tellers and where a growing numbers of malls, universities and other public places have conveniences for three different genders.
